The 'Cheap Thrills' hitmaker will be supported by Miguel and AlunaGeorge for her 'Nostalgic For The Present Tour' of America, which consists of a run of 22 shows beginning in Seattle on September 29 and will conclude in November in Austin, Texas.

An announcement posted to Sia's official Twitter page read: "Sia's headlining the Nostalgic For The Present Tour' this fall & bringing @Miguel + @alunageorge #SiaOnTour - Team Sia (sic)"

Sia - whose real name is Kate Isobelle Furler - last did an extensive tour was the 2011 'We Are Born Tour'.

It will also be the 40-year-old pop beauty's first ever arena tour.

The tour comes after the release of her seventh studio LP 'This Is Acting', which dropped in January.

Her LP is a collection of rejected songs she wrote for other artists including Adele, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Beyoncé.

Talking about reclaiming Adele and Rihanna's unwanted hits, Sia previously said: "I feel like they're hits, but nobody wanted them.

"So I thought , 'Let's see, as an experiment, If I'm right.' "

Sia wrote the song from her LP called 'Birds Set Free' with Adele and she offered it to Rihanna for 'Anti' before putting it on 'This Is Acting'.

Sia revealed: "I believe she did (get a chance to consider it) and she passed. We sent it to her, but it's not really her so I don't know why I thought that. It is a smash, but she's a little more edgy."

Meanwhile, Sia's latest songwriting session saw her record a track for Blondie's new album.

Blondie guitarist Chris Stein said: "Sia and that guy from the Stroke wrote a song that we have on there."

Chris also revealed that singer Debbie Harry is thrilled with the track and thinks it is "amazing".
