The singer revealed he knows about a secret performance set to take place tonight at London's O2 Arena, but he wouldn't reveal the identity.
Speaking on Capital Breakfast, he explained: "There is a surprise performer that I know about, only because their manager emailed to say they were in town, and I was like, 'Oh, really?!' So yeah, there is a surprise performer."
Performing his new single 'Bloodstream', Ed will take to the stage as well as other confirmed performers including Madonna, Kanye West, Sam Smith, Paloma Faith and more.
Ed added: "Performing for me is like the bit I really enjoy. The bit I hate is sitting there waiting to see whether you've got validation by the industry that you fund! That's what I don't like!"
Whilst he's not yet sure if he'll have anything to celebrate following his four nominations, he will go to an after party with his girlfriend and family.
"I'll hang out with them and my friends. I think the worst case scenario is that I'll end up surrounded by well known people, who I have no idea who they are. You know ... I do know who they are, but I don't know them. I think that's my worst case scenario to be honest with you, I wanna celebrate it with people I love."
