Shakira announced a new world tour, during her surprise Coachella performance.
The 47-year-old singer took to the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on Friday (12.04.24), alongside her 'Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53' collaborator Bizarrap.
And, she revealed that she will be kicking off her 'La Mujeres Ya No Lloran' world tour in November.
She said: "Thank you for inviting me, Bizarrap. To be honest, it is amazing to be here with this crowd and with you, who’s my friend and colleague. Today, I cannot contain myself, I have to tell you something.
"Biza, I am going on tour. I am finally going on tour! Starting here this November, this year in this city. I can’t wait. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you."
No dates or venues have been announced.
She also posted on X: "So stoked to finally announce that LAS MUJERES YA NO LLORAN WORLD TOUR is happening! Can’t wait to be back on stage partying and celebrating with my wolfpack! Dates coming up soon - register for info / pre-sale access now! Auuuuuuuuuuuuuu!"
Shakira released her 12th studio album 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran', the follow-up to her 2017 record 'El Dorado', in March.
The star previously admitted she put her music career "on hold" to support her former partner, Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué.
She told The Sunday Times newspaper: "For a long time I put my career on hold, to be next to Gerard, so he could play football. There was a lot of sacrifice for love."
Shakira and Piqué were together for 11 years, from 2011 to 2022. They share two children: Milan, 11, and Sasha, nine.
