Scouting for Girls frontman Roy Stride suffered an embarrassing mishap at Britain's Virgin Media V Festival when he was attacked by a wasp on stage.
The British pop stars were playing an acoustic set for VIP guests in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge on Sunday (18Aug18) after their performance on the main stage when the singer was buzzed by the insect.
Stride yelped, abandoned the song and ran to the back of the stage with his arms flailing in the air, before returning to the microphone and saying, "B**ody wasp!"
He then continued the set, which was plagued by further problems when a guitar string snapped during one of the songs.
Stride was able to joke about the mishaps, saying, "They're filming this and we totally f**ked it up.
"I got attacked by a wasp, a guitar string snapped during the second song and I forgot the words. And I'm swearing. They'll never be able to show anyone this. Well done!"
