He's a legend in the world of guitar artists, and has now announced his new album 'Corazon' is to be released next month.
The record will mark the first ever Latin music album of Santana's career, and is to be released May 5 through Sony Music.
Collaborations on the record include Gloria Estefan, Pitbull, Romeo Santos and many more.
Many of the songs featured on the album were performed at a once in a lifetime concert event last December, where Santana was accompanied by many of his special guests at the gig, in Guadalajara, Mexico at Arena VFG.
That concert was recorded and is to be broadcast this spring on HBO Latino and HBO Latin America, and will then be later released on DVD.
'Corazon' was recorded with producer Lester Mendez taking the helm, and is a joint album release between RCA Records and SOny Latin Iberia.
Carlos Santana, Clive Davis, Afo Verde, Michael Vrionis and Tom Corson all executive-produced.
