Sam Smith, Ella Eyre and Katy B are some of the artists taking part in performances at an MTV New showcase in London.
The singers will take to the stage as part of two showcases at the Islington Assembly Halls on January 29 and 30.
Musician Sam, who has been been named this year's BRITs Critics' Choice Award winner, said it was "great recognition" to be on the list of new artists.
He said: "I've watched MTV for as long as I can remember and to be part of this with all the people who are up for it is insane. I am a huge fan of some of these people."
Ella, who has signed a deal with Virgin EMI Records, featured in Naughty Boy's track 'Think About It' with Wiz Khalifa last year and is now stepping out on her own.
She said: "Being nominated alongside such great new artists was incredible. I'm really looking forward to bringing my live show to MTV Brand New for 2014."
While Katy B has already made a mark on the music scene, the 24-year-old singer will play an exclusive set and aims to "really make the most of the intimate space."
She premiered new song 'Still' this week taken from her forthcoming second studio album 'Little Red'.
Stars also on the MTV Brand New list and playing the concerts in London are - Joel Compass, Kwabs and George Ezra, who are tipped for big things this year.
