Rod Stewart is making a return to the world of music with his brand new album 'Another Country', released on Decca Records later this year.
Finishing work on the album, he's continuing on with a new chapter in his career that began with 2013 release 'Time', reintroducing him as one of the best storytellers in the business.
Chatting about his world, Rod says: "I've found that the only way to write songs is to be as personal and honest as possible.
"And when my last album was so well-received it gave me the confidence to keep on writing, and to examine and write about different things. It also gave me the freedom to experiment with different sounds like reggae, ska and Celtic melodies."
Closely collaborating with producer of the album Kevin Savigar, Rod continues: "It seems like I've spent years of my life in a recording studio so being able to record this album at home, where most of the songs were written, felt so much more intimate and inspiring."
Those who pre-order the standard 12-song or deluxe 15-song edition albums from digital retailers today will instantly receive a download of lead single 'Love Is'.
Deluxe pre-orderers will also receive infamous Python Lee Jackson track 'In A Broken Dream', featuring the vocals of a then unknown Rod Stewart.
'Another Country' is officially released on October 23, with pre-orders available now.
