Rita Ora still loves her song she collaborated with Calvin Harris on.
The 23-year-old singer released the hit track 'I Will Never Let You Down' - which was written by her ex-boyfriend, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris - earlier this year and insists she has remained fond of the song despite their split.
She told Metro.co.uk's Guilty Pleasures: "At that time the song came from a good place so it always reminds me of that place.
"And I love the song."
However, the blonde beauty recently sparked rumours that the break-up had been less than amicable after admitting the 'Under Control' hitmaker banned her from performing the track at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles last month.
She previously said: "For anybody who doesn't understand how it works, he wrote and produced the song. So he has to approve anything TV-wise for anybody who doesn't get it. And obviously he owns the rights to it and he didn't approve the Teen Choice Awards."
Although Rita - who had been planning the performance for "about a month" - revealed she wasn't shocked by Calvin's "last minute change" of heart.
She said: "I could have got told a few weeks earlier, you know. That would have been nice. It was a last minute change, but you know what, it happens and we move on and move forward ... It is what it is, man. You know, you write a song with somebody, and I guess there's some stuff that comes with it ... Everything happens for a reason, that's how I look at it."
Meanwhile, Rita is set to release her second studio album and has penned even more songs that reflect her personal life.
She explained: "I've written a lot of the songs and they are as honest as possible.
"It's about my love life and what I love to do and how I love to go out and all that stuff."
