Rihanna's new album will be called 'Anti'.
The 27-year-old star revealed the name of her eagerly-anticipated eighth studio album at an event in Los Angeles' Mama Gallery on Wednesday (07.10.15) where she also unveiled the cover art for the record.
Speaking to the exclusive crowd invited to the event, she admitted: "This is my favourite album cover I've ever done."
The artwork - designed by Israeli-born New York-based artist Roy Nachum - features an image of Rihanna as a child holding a balloon and wearing a crown which obscures her eyes.
Over the top of the red, white and black image is a poem written by Chloe Mitchell in Braille, which the star explained is part of the album's statement about vision.
She said: "Sometimes the ones who have sight are the blindest."
The long overdue album does not yet have a release date although she has already released singles 'FourFiveSeconds', 'Bitch Better Have My Money' and 'American Oxygen' from the collection.
Last month, Rihanna revealed fans may still have a long wait for the album - which was tentatively named '#R8' by her fans - as she is still working on it.
She said: "It's not done!
"To me it's never done until it's done. Until the final moment.
"I have so many songs I love - and they're so different - that it's hard to actually put them all on the same album."
