Prince's family have revealed that a one-off official tribute concert is in the works and will be headed to Minneapolis' US Bank Stadium on October 13.
Tickets for the show will go on sale next month, with performers scheduled to take to the stage announced within the next few weeks in batches.
Speaking in a statement to the Associated Press, the family explained: "We are excited for the opportunity to bring everyone together for the official family celebration of Prince's life, music and legacy, and there is no better place to do it than his hometown of Minneapolis.
"We are honoured by the artists who will pay tribute and grateful to those that have worked so hard to make this celebration possible."
The concert comes after Prince's unexpected death on April 21, after the music icon died following an overdose of prescription drugs at 57-years-old.
The singer's family also recently announce that Paisley Park will be turned into a Prince tribute museum.
Speaking to The Sun, Maurice Phillips, husband to Prince's sister Tyka said: "We will turn Paisley Park into a museum in Prince's memory.
"It would be for the fans. He was all about the fans - this would remember his music, which is his legacy. Prince was always private but would have wanted his music remembered."
