Pharrell Williams' brand new single 'Freedom' is the first exclusive to come to Apple Music, with the streaming service securing the track for official release on June 30.
Heard for the first time earlier this month at the Worldwide Developers Conference in a promotional video for the Beats 1 radio station, Pharrell went on to release a teaser on his Facebook account in promotion of the track, confirming the release date and exclusivity for Apple at the end of the clip.
He also praised Tayor Swift for her open letter to Apple, which eventually convinced the company to pay artists during the free trial period users can go through on Apple Music.
Speaking to The Drum, Pharrell said: "Taylor Swift has done a great thing for music and for artistry. And so did Apple. It's not about who's right, it's about what is right."
Apple Music will launch on June 30 alongside Beats 1 - watch a video introducing the service below.
