Pharrell Williams was joined on stage at his iTunes Festival concert this Wednesday by a former N.E.R.D bandmate.
The singer/producer thrilled the crowd in Camden, London by "taking it back to the beginning" and prompting Shay Haley to step on to the stage, bringing forth massive cheers.
The pair performed 'Rockstar', 'Lapdance' and 'She Wants To Move' whilst a new N.E.R.D album was hinted at by Shay, who said: "It feels good to be back in London. When we released our first album back in 2001 and first crossed the Atlantic, this was the first place to embrace us. You're going to like this s**t we're going to release."
Pharrell continued: "There will always be an N.E.R.D, I'm happy to be a nerd; the bullies lost, the nerds win."
The show was also laden with Pharrell's hits including 'Marilyn Monroe', of which he said to the audience: "Marilyn Monroe was a very beautiful woman both on the inside and outside but there's only one Marilyn and only one you so if you think your beautiful I want to hear you."
He also performed a medley of tracks he's co-wrote or written for other artists including Ed Sheeran's 'Sing' and Snoop Dogg's 'Drop It Like It's Hot'.
Apple were thanked by the musician for putting on the concert and giving fans free tickets, with Pharrell explaining: "Apple brought us together, they have you guys and they let us come to the party and the whole world is watching. Let's talk about devices. There's been a lot of things going across your screens that have caused you to be fearful, so let's party for love not for fear."
The concert was closed with 'Blurred Lines', 'Get Lucky' and summer smash solo song 'Happy', before confetti exploded from the ceiling and showered his fans.
