Pharrell Williams is hoping to work alongside Adele sometime this year.
The singer thinks the superstar is one of the best artists to come out of the past two decades, and admits he would love to work with her as he's loved everything she's released.
He said: "It would be amazing to work with such a talent. I have been excited about her since I first heard 'Rolling in The Deep'. If the opportunity comes up in 2015 for us to work together - them I am totally down with that."
Releasing his second solo record last year, Pharrell went on to blast those who compare stars of today to legends of the past, but believes it's justified with Adele.
"I think today comparisons are thrown about too easily when it comes to comparing current artists with legends. In Adele's case, I think it is warranted though."
Praising her further he said her skill is sure to make her go down in history as one of the great voices of her generation.
"She has a voice that, like Mariah and Whitney, is only going to come along every 20 years or so."
News on her third LP is yet to be released, with producer Paul Epworth keeping quiet on any details.
