Paloma Faith is busy working on her fourth album.
The 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This' hitmaker is currently locked away in a studio writing songs for the follow-up to 2014's 'A Perfect Contradiction' and is excited to get new music out so she can go on tour.
Responding to a fan on Twitter, she wrote: "I am just writing it now. I want it to come out too so I can go on tour again! But patience is a virtue."
Paloma delayed the LP while she filmed the audition rounds of BBC's 'The Voice', but now she has some spare time before the live shows begin she's determined to lay down some lyrics.
The 34-year-old singer announced she had started making the record when she performed at Glastonbury last June.
Speaking to the crowd, she said: "Now we're going to bring to your attention what I've been listening to a lot when making album number four."
And while she's keeping details of the album under wraps, it's known she enlisted the help of Chic legend Nile Rodgers.
Posting a photo of the pair in the studio a few months ago on Instagram, she wrote: "In the studio today learning from a master @nilerodgers (sic)"
Paloma has performed with Chic on several occasions most notably at his FOLD festival, where they jammed with Pharrell Williams and Keith Urban last year.
Paloma's album is expected to be released later this year.
