Ozzy Osbourne has been hospitalised for an infection which forced him to cancel is concert in California.
The 69-year-old rocker was due to perform in Mountain View, California on Saturday (06.10.18), but instead spent the evening at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after undergoing surgery on his hand to treat an infection.
A statement on Ozzy's official website read: "OZZY OSBOURNE's Saturday, October 6 show at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA is being postponed due to illness. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy-winning singer and songwriter is being treated for an infection, which required surgery on his hand this morning (Saturday, October 6). OSBOURNE will spend a couple of days at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles where he'll remain under doctor's care as they monitor the infection. (sic)"
But ticket holders for the California show won't be too disappointed, as the date has been rescheduled for October 16, and tickets for the original date will still be valid. Those who don't wish to attend the rescheduled show are able to get a refund from the point of purchase.
Ozzy's concert is part of his 'No More Tours' tour, the end of which will see him stop travelling the world, but won't mark the end of his career.
The 'War Pigs' singer previously said: "What I'm stopping is doing what I'm doing now, going around the world all the time. I wish people would understand I'm not retiring. Is it my bad English accent? It's called the 'No More Tours' tour. It doesn't say 'No more tours ever.'"
Meanwhile, the 'Mr. Crowley' rocker previously insisted he won't be retiring any time soon, as he plans to keep making music and starring in TV shows with his family - such as 'Ozzy and Jack's World Detour' with his son Jack Osbourne - until he's dead.
He said: "[My career will end when] a pine lid is being nailed to my box!
"I can't say it's a job. I don't have to get up and do something I don't particularly like and work for someone I don't particularly care for just to get a wage packet.
"I work for a couple of hours a night, travel a bit. I have a choice whether to stop or not and I don't want to."
