Olly Murs is hoping to organise a Live Aid concert with Bob Geldof for next year.

After singing on the Band Aid 30 charity single 'Do They Know It's Christmas?', Olly hopes to further raise money for the Ebola crisis with a huge concert, as the single has been marked with on previous occasions.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper he explained: "It would be incredible to do. It has been done in the past and it would be amazing to do it again.

"I've heard inklings from Bob on the other ideas that he's got. He's definitely got an idea and plan for something to happen."

London's old Wembley Stadium hosted the original Live Aid concert in July 1985, and featured a set by Queen.

Live8 was then held in July 2005 in Hyde Park, where Pink Floyd reunited for their first concert together in years to help raise money for Africa.

Olly insists he'd have no hesitation in agreeing to perform if Bob wants to go ahead with it again.

"If I was asked to do it I would definitely make sure I was available."

He added: "I was like the joker in the pack because I get along with everyone. I loved seeing Elbow and Sam Smith and me and the One Direction boys all having fun.

"Chris Martin complimented me on my presenting skills. I presume he must have watched 'The Xtra Factor' because that's the only presenting job I've done!"
