Noel Gallagher insists that nobody has given him a serious request to reform Oasis with his brother Liam Gallagher.

Speaking to The Times newspaper, he said although he's regularly questioned about the possibility of an Oasis reunion, he's never had a genuine offer for the group to get back together.

"Given all the rumours, I haven't had one serious offer for a reunion gig," he explained.

The band originally split after some explosive rows back in 2009, leading to the remaining members forming Beady Eye with Liam - a group which also split up last year.

Whilst that group performed in Glastonbury in 2013, he added that Michael Eavis hadn't queried whether they'd team up to play the annual event.

"Michael Eavis has never called up and asked if Oasis will play Glastonbury."

He went on to recently reveal that even if he was offered a lot of money to get back together, it's unlikely he'd do so.

He confessed: "Is it likely to happen? No, me and Damon [Albarn] making a double album is probably more likely to happen".
