Nick Jonas has joked that his new solo self-titled album is named after himself because he couldn't think of a better title.
Released in November last year in America and just this month finding its feet in the UK, it's spawned a pair of hit tracks with 'Jealous' and 'Chains', proving the Jonas Brother doesn't need his siblings alongside him to be successful.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw, he said: "Um no, no, it's very important I call it this; it's a redefining in my life... and maybe I couldn't think of a better title... I'm so obsessed with myself!"
Then going on to talk about how 'Jealous' has been a hit, Nick admitted he thought the track would get on his nerves after a while.
"I was like, 'Oh, I'm loving this!' and then I thought by the time I release it I would hate it, because it feels like one of those songs that could become annoying.
"And to some who are listening are probably like, 'It is annoying!' but to me, I still enjoy it."
Nick Jonas' self-titled solo record is out now.
