Nick Jonas has admitted he's found it hard reliving some of the past whilst writing songs for his new upcoming album.

Calling time on his relationship with Olivia Culpo last year, he says that the hurt caused by it all changed exactly what he was writing for his third solo studio record.
Speaking to fans in a series of Twitter messages, he wrote: "I've been making this record for a year and a half... Pouring everything I have into it."
"When I first started making I thought I knew what it would be about... Then I had a breakup... It then became very clear what this thing would be about... And that I need to dig really deep...
"S**t is too real sometimes... Reliving some of these real life experiences through this music is hard... But I know it's important that I do it. I want to be an open book in my art."
He then revealed the names of songs on the album as well as the title 'Last Year Was Complicated'.
He promised to reveal the first song today (March 24) as well as dropping the cover art for the album on his Instagram.
