Nick Jonas has said he's "digging deep" whilst looking for new modes of creative expression at the moment whilst working on his third studio record and promoting new television series Scream Queens, whilst also working on Kingdom.
The 23-year-old has a number of projects on the go and recently in the music world released his single 'Levels' which isn't included on his most-recent self-titled LP, but is instead a cut from what to expect from his next album.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Jonas said: "'Levels' is a good introduction to the next step. I think [the album will] go even a bit further with some more soul and R&B sounds, even hip hop influences in there. I'm really just digging deep."
Chatting about his brother Joe Jonas, he said: "It's important for both of us to support each other and be excited for each other, but give each other that space as well to do our own thing. We're both conscious of that. We want [to] win together, even if it's doing different projects."
Now focused on his solo efforts, he promises that fans will be listening to the record at some point next year.
"We have not picked a date officially yet, but we have a sense. It's going to be at some point early next year, so probably the end of February or early March."
