As one of the first songs Niall wrote for his forthcoming debut solo record ‘Flicker’, the track is one close to the former One Direction member’s heart. Having already reached number one on iTunes in 39 countries, it’s clear that branching out on his own was one of the best decisions he could have made for his career, as 1D take a hiatus.
Already confirming a world tour to support his album, Niall recently performed in London’s Shephreds Bush Empire, gaining critical acclaim for his performance and allowing himself the perfect launch pad for the months to come.
Selling over 70 million records during his time with One Direction, there are some lofty expectations for Niall’s solo career. If what we’ve seen and heard so far is anything to by however, he’s got some more major milestones ahead.
