Girls Aloud may have broken up, but doesn’t seem to have been the most wanted goodbye for all five members of the group, with Nadine Coyle going public in saying that she wanted the girls to stay together.
Posting to her Twitter account, Nadine said “You should know by now I had no part in this split business. I couldn’t stop them. I had the best time & want to keep going.”
This comes only the day after the group had played their last show together in Liverpool and officially announced the group’s climax.
Coyle had previously launched a solo career of her own following the band’s hiatus in 2009, but her debut album ‘Insatiable’ didn’t even break into the top forty in the UK and only just got into the top twenty in her native Ireland.
