Muse are on course to gain both the number one album charts slot and the fastest-selling album of the year so far, it's been revealed.
Their new record 'Drones' is set to become the band's fifth number one record and is now outselling the rest of the top five combined.
First topping the charts 12 years back in 2003 with debut LP 'Absolution', they've since gone on to win praise for 2006's 'Black Holes and Revelations', 2009's 'The Resistance' and 2012's 'The 2nd Law'.
Florence + the Machine slip to number two with 'How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful' and Leftfield's first album in over 16 years claims number three.
Of Monsters & Men and Collabro round out the top five with their albums 'Beneath The Skin' and 'Act Two' respectively.
The Rolling Stones slot in at number six with FFS at seven.
