Motley Crue have described their recent country tribute album as "really cool".

The group had a number of their tracks covered by artists including LeAnn Rimes and Florida Georgia Line no 'Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute to Motley Crue' and though they enjoyed the LP, they did say there aren't any plans for similar ones in the future.

Vince Neil

Speaking to FoxNews.com, Vince Neil said: "No that was it. It turned out great, though. I mean we just kind of let those artists do what they wanted to do. Some of them followed the songs, a lot of them went out and did their own thing. They made it really cool."

Vince and bandmate Nikki Sixx joked about being able to write a country song now they've worked with the artists on the record.

He said: "You're young, and you go out drinking, drugging and writing songs. Bad stuff happens; You lose your wife, your house, your car."

Nikki added: "And you write a song about it."

Motley Crue had no input into songs covered or artists involved in the project.
