Miley Cyrus hopes fans appreciate how much she has changed on 'Bangerz'.
The 20-year-old 'Wrecking Ball' singer - who recently caused controversy with her raunchy performance with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards - has urged her supporters to listen to her latest album more than once in order to hear how different her music is nowadays.
She said: "It's not a one-listen record. If you keep listening to it, you can keep seeing where I change. And it's a real story and a real growing.
"I hope they really see it as the arc that it is. Even when I did my documentary for MTV ['Miley: The Movement], it really showed a complete arc of where I was and where I am now, so I hope they kind of see that."
Miley insists fans can see exactly how much she has changed by listening to the emotional track 'Someone Else' on 'Bangerz', and she deliberately placed the song at the end of her fourth record to represent the end of the latest chapter in her life.
She added to MTV News: "I feel like I got to where I finally was on 'Someone Else,' which was the end of the record. I've turned into someone else.
"That's what I mean about it kind of being like a story. I kind of all did it in that time."
