Meghan Trainor has decided she'll be taking her parents to this year's Grammy Awards.
Up for two prizes at the ceremony - Record of the Year and Song of the Year - she'll be accompanied to the show along with father Gary and mother Kellie, hoping to share her special night with them as a thank you for all of their support.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Meghan explained: "Both my mother and my father are coming and they're very excited. But my dad's going to be sitting right next to me. Dad has come to every event because he was a musician."
Meghan's now looking forward to sharing a room with so many pop sensations and hopes she can run into her idol Beyoncé once more.
She first met the star during the Billboard Women in Music Awards and was stunned to be told that both she and her three-year-old daughter Blue Ivy were fans.
"She came up to me and held my hands and said, 'I love your music, my daughter and I listen to your songs every day and dance to them.' I freaked out. I was pretty much complete with life. I was like, 'Oh! That's it, Beyoncé likes my songs. I'm done.'"
The 57th annual Grammy Awards ceremony takes place later this year at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 8.
