McBusted yesterday announced their new single 'Air Guitar', and the song is now available to listen to through a newly released lyric video.
Upon getting together, the group - made up of Busted's James Bourne and Matt Willis alongside McFly's Harry Judd, Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter - realised that "the expectations are so high, we only want to release new music if it's f**king good."
Now they seem to have hit the nail on the head with a tune that formed from an idea Tom had: "I was like, how has this song never been written before?"
Bandmate Matt added: "It's such a brilliant idea for a song - I was furious when Tom came up with it, obviously. I love it."
The news comes after the supergroup took part in a huge arena tour of the UK, where they sold out 35 dates and 350,000 tickets, crowning the success with a headline date at Hyde Park where they played to 60,000 people.
'Air Guitar' will follow the one-day exclusive cinema release of behind-the-scenes film Tourplay - a look into the launch of the group and their first year together.
The song will release on November 23 and is available to pre-order now. Tourplay plays at Vue cinemas nationwide on October 28 - tickets are available from myvue.com
