The LuvBug star's studio is in the same building as the 'Firestarter' hitmakers at the The Music Groove complex, which is on an industrial estate near London's King's Cross station and is also used by the likes of Mark Ronson and John Newman.

Speaking to website Loaded.co.uk, Marvin shared: "There are a hundred studios here. The Prodigy are here, so are Chase & Status. Mark Ronson has got the biggest suite. You can't go to lunch in the café without seeing someone like John Newman or Ella Eyre."

One night the former JLS singer along with an unnamed member of the electronic trio - consisting of Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim from Prodigy - had a party and all got "merry" with a group of other songwriters, and the booze-fuelled evening resulted in them producing a track together.

Marvin explained: "One of them ended up with six of us songwriters in this little room at midnight, all of us merry, finishing off the beers in my fridge. The song we came up with was... OK."

Meanwhile, Marvin - who is married to Rochelle Humes - has been hitting the studio with his idol Craig David and, while he didn't say much about it, he's been trying to play it cool because he's a huge fan of the hunky singer.

He said: "I massively have to play it cool when I'm in the studio with Craig. Although I've probably got drunk with him before now and said how much of a fan I am. Craig, Usher, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye - they're my all-time five go-to guys."
