Mark Ronson has admitted that he's "annoyed" with The X Factor after Fleur East performed and released her rendition of 'Uptown Funk'.
Intending to unveil the new song in January, Mark was forced to hasten his collaboration with Bruno Mars after discovering that Fleur East had released it as a single.
Speaking to NME magazine Mark explained: "I realised this girl's cover's going to come out before our own.
"So yeah, for a minute I was a little bit annoyed and then we kind of rushed ours, which is good 'cause I think whatever it took to get the song out."
Now though, Mark's original version is among the contenders for the Christmas number one spot and isn't far behind X Factor winner Ben Haenow's debut single.
Mark's joked that if he stole Ben's thunder and claimed number one, he'd feel a little bit guilty.
"I almost feel guilty, maybe we can do a remix with a few Christmas words in there in time."
