Marilyn Manson is set to take to the stage at Download Festival 2018.
The 48-year-old controversial rocker has been announced as one of the acts set to amaze crowds at the annual festival held in Donington Park in Leicestershire, England, over the weekend of June 8-10.
Marilyn's addition to the line-up was made public on Tuesday (28.11.17), in an announcement which also included the likes of Bullet For My Valentine, Asking Alexandria, Parkway Drive, and Babymetal.
Also on the bill are bands including Black Veil Brides, The Hives, Rise Against, Mayday Parade, and Neck Deep.
The new additions will join the previously announced headliners, Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N' Roses, and Ozzy Osbourne.
For Marilyn, the chance to perform at the rock music extravaganza comes after he recently released his critically acclaimed album 'Heaven Upside Down', and is keen to wow crowds with his renowned and energetic live show.
The 'Beautiful People' rocker will no doubt be hoping luck is on his side when he takes to the stage next year though, after he recently suffered a health scare when part of his staging fell on top of him during a performance at the Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City last month.
Marilyn - whose real name is Brian Warner - had to undergo surgery after being left with a broken fibula and minor bruising to his skull and ribs, and was also forced to axe a number of his shows following the incident, which left him annoyed.
He said previously: "[The prop] started to fall and I tried to push back and I didn't get out the way in time. I'm not sure what I hit my head on, but it did fall onto my leg and break the fibula in two places. The pain was excruciating.
"It definitely could have crushed my skull and my ribs. I have some minor bruising in that area, but it took six guys to pull it off of me. It was like wrestling a giant iron monster."
