Mariah Carey is reportedly planning to star in a new docu-series, apparently currently filming the documentary-style show to allow fans to see her behind-the-scenes of her current Las Vegas residency and upcoming tour, according to UsWeekly.
Speaking to the magazine, an insider said: "It's nuts, she is very funny on camera."
UsWeekly also reports that the show will be named Mariah's Squad, giving music fans a real insight into the life of one of the world's biggest music stars.
A date for the series is to be revealed in the coming weeks and months, but setting up the series has been pretty straightforward, as Mariah's manager has experience as a producer for reality TV.
If true, it would seem Mariah's done a complete 180 after last year admitting she wouldn't want to do a reality show.
She said at the time: "Some people's goal is to be famous, not to have a craft or an art that they're famous for. Today, you can be famous just from being on a reality... well, doing... you don't really have to do much, but you kinda gotta do a lot. And then your whole life is just about being a celebrity.
"I couldn't handle being on a reality show, I couldn't handle having people with cameras on me all the time. It's already like that, it's too much."
Earlier this year, Empire bosses were forced to deny Mariah would be starring on the series after a series of rumours said she'd be making a guest appearance.
