Mariah Carey is back in the studio and is said to have started work on a brand new album.
Recording new music for her 15th studio LP, the news comes just a day after it was revealed she'd signed a new deal with Sony's Epic Records label.
Confirming the news on social media, long-term collaborator Jermaine Dupri posted an Instagram photo with the caption: "been in the studio all night with @MariahCarey. (sic)".
The record producer has worked with Mariah a number of times in the past and masterminded work on her singles 'We Belong Together' and 'Always Be My Baby'.
Her recent deal sees her reunited with producer L.A. Reid, who worked on her 2005 record 'The Emancipation of Mimi'.
This album is to follow 2014's ''Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse' released through Def Jam Recordings, which featured the singles '#Beautiful' and 'The Art of Letting Go'.
It'll also be her first since her highly-publicised split with former husband Nick Cannon.
