Louis Tomlinson will focus on his record label during One Direction's hiatus.
The 23-year-old hunk announced the creation of his own label, an imprint of Simon Cowell's Syco, back in April, and will make it his priority during his time off from the band next year.
Speaking to the 'Capital London Breakfast Show' co-host Dave Berry, Simon Cowell said: "I know Louis wants to be an A&R guy, run a label; he was always going to be good at that. I haven't gone into too much detail with the others."
Speaking earlier this year about the label, which has already signed 'The X Factor UK' finalist Jack Walton, the 'Drag Me Down' singer said he had been keen to launch the label for a while.
He explained: "This is something I've wanted to do for some time.
"To be given the opportunity to potentially give new artists a platform is an incredible feeling. I hope to sign some really exciting new artists down the line."
While Louis will focus on working with other artists, Harry Styles has been tipped to make a solo album and feature in Hollywood films, while Niall Horan is believed to be eager to also make music or work in sports promotion.
And Liam Payne, 21, previously said he is hoping to get into music production.
Asked what he wants to do during their time off, he said: "There's loads of things. I've been writing a lot on the road at the moment, not for me, just for other people.
"I've been doing a lot of things, you know trying to get into the producing side of it which is pretty cool."
