The first selection of performers have been announced for this year's seventh Liverpool Sound City.
Kodaline, Gruff Rhys and Fuck Buttons will join Clean Bandit - who yesterday reached number one in the UK with 'Rather Be' - on the stage to sing live.
Also featured are a score of breakthrough artists including Darlia, Thumpers, Jungle, Circa Waves and Wolf Alice.
Another host of acts is to be announced next month, featuring additional headliners for the event.
“It’s shaping up to be the best Sound City to date,” said CEO David Pichilingi. “We have always strived to bring the best to Liverpool and we have definitely delivered this year on both the live and conference side.”
Three-day festival only wristbands can be bought now at an early bird price of £44 until Monday February 3, from http://www.liverpoolsoundcity.co.uk/home/tickets-and-info.aspx
