Little Mix have this week revealed which song they’ll be trying to top the charts with next, announcing ‘No More Sad Songs’ featuring Machine Gun Kelly as their next single. The news comes off the back of their award-winning triumph at the 2017 BRIT Awards, where they took home one of the night’s biggest prizes, claiming British Single of the Year with their smash hit track, ‘Shout Out to My Ex’.
Fans of the group will recognise the new single as the third cut from double platinum album ‘Glory Days’; a song that was written by Electric (‘Black Magic’, ‘Shout Out to My Ex’), Emily Warren and Tash Phillips, with Electric also serving on production. Already a fan-favourite track, this new version brings in the talents of Machine Gun Kelly who recently saw success in the States with his own single, ‘Bad Things’.
The ladies themselves took to social media to announce the news, dressed up as cowgirls and making the reveal from the States:
Machine Gun Kelly also took to Twitter to tease the track, writing:
A traditional pop track, ‘No More Sad Songs’ is another bold take that tackles the issue of getting over a lost love, going out and asking the DJ to only play uplifting, inspiring music.
Now the girls are continuing their tour across America with Ariana Grande, covering the country in full over the next two months and expanding their ever-growing fan base.
‘No More Sad Songs’ featuring Machine Gun Kelly is officially released on Friday, March 3.
