Lily Allen has said her children act as judges for her new music.
The 'Hard Out Here' singer hasn't sample her kid's voices on her new tracks like Beyoncé and Jay Z have done with their daughter Blue Ivy, but she believes her daughters Ethel, two, and Marnie, 13 months, are brilliant when it comes to testing her tracks.
She said: "I haven't done any of that sampling. But you know what, little babies are really quite good to test your music out on."
The 28-year-old star - who took a break from her music career in 2009 in order to focus on motherhood - premiered her new single 'Air Balloon' today (13.01.14) and claimed she wrote the song based on drifting away into her own little world.
She explained: "It's about escapism really, and daydreaming in a lot of ways."
Meanwhile, Lily is remaining tight-lipped on what her fans can expect from her third album, but she admits it has been difficult trying to write songs and juggle motherhood at the same time.
Speaking on Capital FM radio station, she said: "You know what, I'm still sort of piecing it all together to be honest. So I can't really give you any specifics, but I'm really really proud of it and I'm really pleased with it. I've worked so hard and it hasn't been easy with two little tiny babies running around."
'Air Balloon' will be released on March 2.
