Liam Gallagher has announced a huge homecoming show in Manchester next August.
The former Oasis frontman will return to the Northern city's Emirates Lancashire Cricket Club for the second time as a solo artist after he performed at the venue for the One Love Manchester benefit concert in June, for the victims of the terror attack at Ariana Grande's concert at the nearby Manchester Arena in May.
The 'Wall of Glass' hitmaker will be joined by special guests at 'RIZE Presents Liam Gallagher' on August 18, which will follow his Finsbury Park festival in London in June.
The 45-year-old rocker's show at the venue comes after he criticised his brother and former bandmate Noel - who he has barley spoken to since he quit the Britpop group in 2009, resulting in the end of the band - for his response to the terrorist attack that took place in their hometown, following his no-show at One Love Manchester.
The 50-year-old guitarist - who insists he wasn't asked to perform at the star-studded-concert - found himself under attack by Liam again when he headlined the reopening of Manchester Arena in June and appeared emotional while singing 'Don't Look Back in Anger'.
At the time, Noel refused to criticise Liam for his decision to play his own comeback single, 'Wall of Glass', at the Manchester tribute concert.
He simply said: "Well, my instinct, were I young, high and drunk, would be to go on a rant. But I'm dignified now."
It's anyone's guess who will be joining Liam at the concert in August, but he recently said he'd like to get grime star Skepta to perform at Finsbury Park.
The 'For What It's Worth' singer last performed at the London landmark with Oasis back in 2002, and said he's hoping it will be just as "dangerous".
He said: "I loved that gig, man. It was really f**king dangerous and I liked it. So hopefully we'll have a bit of the same."
And letting slip who he's looking to book for the gig, he said: "It can't all be 90s stuff, man.
"We've got to mix it up a bit. I'd like to get Skepta playing, have something a bit different."
Tickets will go on sale at 9am Friday November 24 via Ticketmaster.
