Kevin Jonas has admitted he suffered from depression when the Jonas Brothers split up.
The 27-year-old musician said he went through a "mourning process" when his band, made up of brothers Nick Jonas, 22, Joe Jonas, 25, and himself, split in October 2013.
He told New York radio station Z100: "Notice how when [the Jonas Brothers] went dark, we went dark. We didn't do a single interview, we didn't talk to anybody, we just went dark. I just got really depressed for a while. There's a mourning process."
The former 'Camp Rock' star - who wed Danielle Deleasa in 2009 - also addressed the rumour he is envious of his brother Nick Jonas, who coincidentally has recently returned to the charts with a hit single titled 'Jealous'.
Kevin ranted: "I don't know how many times I literally hear this. It's the worst pun in the world from some idiotic frat guy. It's like, 'You must be 'Jealous' of Nick!' ... Constantly! It's like, why? He's doing his thing. I'm doing mine!" he said. "He's happy. I'm happy."
He does however, miss having a career in music and added "there's nothing like" performing in front of adoring fans.
He told People magazine: "I miss touring. I miss seeing people on the road. I miss that adrenaline rush, there's nothing like it."
