Kasabian are to open the BAFTA Awards next Sunday at the Royal Opera House.
Recently overlooked for BRIT Award nominations, they're looking forward to appearing at the ceremony.
The band's lead guitarist and chief songwriter Sergio Pizzorno explained to The Sun newspaper: "It's way more exciting playing the Baftas than the Brits.
"Awards should be chaotic and exciting. We're going to start the night off with a huge explosion.
"We're going to play everything twice as loud.
"Half the people there won't have a clue what is going on. We plan on going to the Bafta after-party and we're going to totally destroy it."
He also spoke of their recent BRITs snub, which shocked many in the music industry following their Glastonbury festival headliner in 2014.
"It's a conspiracy. They're trying to shut rock 'n' roll out of it. What sort of message does that send to working class rock 'n' roll bands, which the industry is in dire need of?
"Kasabian couldn't have done any more last year. It's bulls*** really."
