Released exclusively to Tidal in February, the record, serving as West's seventh studio album, has had 250 million listens from users if the data is to be believed, but it's not revealed whether this refers to the entirety of the album being played or whether it's the sum of all individual songs from the album being played.
In a report from Billboard, Tidal announced it has three million subscribers, with 45% of those paying for the service's premium hi-definition lossless audio tier.
Taking to Twitter to address his success, Kanye wrote:
Not wasting any time on new material, Kanye's now said to be working on studio album number eight, currently titled 'Turbo Grafx 16', and potentially featuring collaborations with the likes of Big Sean and Tyler, The Creator.
