Justin Bieber and Rick Rubin are working together in the studio.
The young singer is collaborating with the Def Jam Records founder and on Tuesday night, enlisted the help of the super-producer to reportedly create an "urban" sound for forthcoming new music.
Confirming their working together, Justin yesterday posted a grainy photograph of the two on his Shots account.
Scooter Braun - JB's manager - teased the news by writing: "Working on some history!"
Previously working with the likes of Jay Z and Kanye West, Rubin has been credited with raising the profile of huge acts such as the Beastie Boys, Run-D.M.C. and Public Enemy.
Despite heading into the studio with Rubin, Justin's reportedly keen to stay away from making a full LP because he doesn't want to have to go on tour once more.
Speaking to HollywoodLife a source explained: "He is in no rush to make a full album because he doesn't want to tour right now.
"A full album doesn't make him any money. He will still continue to release singles and keep his music out there, but a full album is still a long time coming."
