Best known for his role on EastEnders as Christian Clarke, Johnny Partridge will now be releasing his debut album 'Dames, Dudes + Cowboys Too', hoping to make his mark on the world of music.
Celebrating his 31st year in the world of showbiz, he'll also headline the Borderline in London in support of the new record on September 17, with tickets priced at £20 and available from the box office and Music Glue.
"I wanted each song to sound and feel completely new, to have a life of their own" says Johnny, who covers a selection of his favourite artists on the collection as well as putting together three original songs.
Dolly Parton's 'Jolene' and Rufus Wainwright's 'Me and Liza' are just two of the many hits on offer, all likely to be standouts.
Before the release Johnny is to take part in BBC Saturday night entertainment show Tumble from August 9, where he and other celebrities will do their best to become skilled in the art of gymnastics.
'Dames, Dudes + Cowboys Too' is released September 15 on Big Hand Recordings.
