Jessie J’s ‘Domino’ was the most played song in the UK last year according to music insiders.
Despite Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ being the biggest selling single of the year, stats released by royalties company PPL confirm that The Voice coach beat both him and Emeli Sande to top the playlists.
David Guetta’s ‘Titanium’ danced it’s way to number four on the list with Maroon 5’s insanely catchy ‘Moves Like Jagger’ closed out the top five, despite both of the songs not even being released in 2012. It was a trend that continued throughout the top ten, with a further two songs on the top ten also being released in 2011.
