Jessica Simpson has revealed she's planning her music comeback, and is building a basement recording studio whilst gearing up to take on the industry once more.

Around a decade ago, Simpson decided to step out of the spotlight when it came to music, instead focusing on her fashion and beauty lines.
Now though she's hoping to record some new material soon, and she explained all to America's Today show.
"That's how I started; that's always [been] one of my biggest passions in the world. I love to use my voice," she explained.
"I'm down in my basement recording. I'm sure my kids will completely take over."
Jessica and husband Eric Johnson are parents to two children, three-year-old daughter Maxwell and two-year-old son Ace.
"Maxwell is a great big sister," Jessica shared. "She's at that age where she's rolling her eyes at Ace a little bit."
And though she is going to return to music, Jessica won't be going back to reality television anytime soon.
"That's very rear view. Having a camera on me at all times, I mean we all know I stick my foot in my mouth a little bit too much."
