Jess Glynne is set to record the Children in Need single.
The 'Don't Be So Hard On Yourself' hitmaker is being lined up by the BBC to perform the annual charity track, which was previously covered by the likes of Ellie Goulding and the Spice Girls, following her successful year in music so far.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "This is the perfect end to an amazing year for Jess. Being chosen to do Children In Need means you're at the top of your game, which is amazing considering she is still a relatively new artist."
The insider added: "She'll be given blanket coverage by the BBC for the track, and will also get to perform it live on TV later this month on the annual special."
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old singer, who bounded onto the scene with the Clean Bandit last year with the single 'Rather Be', is determined to take her career seriously and has even banned herself from partying in order to protect her voice following emergency surgery on her vocal cords recently.
She said last month: "I have to be careful [following surgery]. I just need to make sure I rest my voice. I'm not allowed to go out and party because I'm still in the recovery period."
Jess underwent the procedure in June after suffering with her voice for a prolonged amount of time and is said to be impressed with the results so far.
