Singer/songwriter and former X Factor finalist Janet Devlin rocketed to number one on the UK Indie Breakers chart with debut album 'Running With Scissors', and more recently launched herself successfully in the States.

Now she's busy writing her second record at just 20-years-old, but is hoping to keep her fanbase happy with the release of her brand new festive Christmas EP, 'December Daze'.

Mixing a couple of classics with an assortment of originals, the EP will be available to pre-order thorugh PledgeMusic along with a range of festive goodies, experiences and exclusive offers including a Christmas Day Skype call with Janet herself.

Chatting about the EP's title track, Janet said: "I wrote this song in New York... it was a truly inspiring time to write a Christmas song as I'd gone for a walk in Central Park and it was covered in snow reminding me of all the classic Christmas films that had been made there. Back in my hotel I sat on the 36th floor with my guitar player and the view of Times Square watching people with their woolly hats and oversized coats... Within these moments 'December Daze' was born."

Planning to return to the studio in the New Year to complete second LP 'Holy Water', Janet's not one to rest on her luarels, instead hoping that the album will be a "heartfelt, personal affair with a strong emphasis on the emotion associated with each song".
