James Arthur has said he's had a "dream partnership" after working with Emeli Sande and Naughty Boy.
The singer got to work with the writing duo on 'Roses', a love song from his self-titled debut album, and was floored when he saw the result.
He said in a new video posted on his YouTube channel: "Naughty boy and Emeli Sande for me are that partnership - they are the dream partnership to work with. I think they know they have an amazing relationship in terms of writing music. Obviously we have heard what they have produced and its other worldly, it's a different class."
Naughty Boy was responsible for producing Emeli's 2012 debut album, 'Our Version Of Events' which spurned hits including 'Heaven' and 'Clown', and James admits he was anxious to bring the Scottish singer's lyrics to life on 'Roses'.
He added: "I had to try and interpret her beautiful words and make it sound real."
Meanwhile the 25-year-old singer is set to return to 'The X Factor', which he won last year to perform his second single.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I'm performing my second single on the show in December, during the semi-finals."
James' self-tilted debut album is out now.
