Jaden Smith has been working on his new album 'SYRE' for "a long three years".
The 19-year-old artist and actor recently released his debut album, and the star has admitted it "feels good" having the 17-track compilation "out into the world", especially after spending the last 36 months creating it.
Speaking to Billboard about his latest venture, the 'The Karate Kid' star - who is the son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith - said: "It feels good to have it out into the world. It's been a long three years."
Jaden's artwork features contributions from A$AP Rocky on the track 'Breakfast', as well as Raury, his girlfriend Odessa Adlon on 'Lost Boy', and his 17-year-old sister Willow Smith who appears on 'B'.
And the star has revealed his reason for including other artists on his LP is because he aspires to be like rapper Kanye West and collaborate with "a bunch of artists" throughout his career.
He said: "I really wanted to be like Kanye and work with a bunch of artists."
But Jaden is keen to get even more of his "favourite artists" to work on a few songs with him, as he plans to release an exclusive version of 'SYRE' in Japan to help propel his "K-pop career".
He explained: "I'm exploring all genres [of music]. I'm going to get some of my favourite artists on some songs with me, so that's going to be the start of my K-pop career."
And one artist in particular Jaden is particularly keen to join forces with is 29-year-old South Korean star G-Dragon - whose full name is Kwon Ji-yong - because the 'Watch Me' hitmaker thinks he is "the icon living" and "the one."
Jaden explained: "[He's] who I really need to buckle down and do this with. He is a style icon. He is the icon living. He is the one."
But Jaden is conscious of falling into the same trap as some artists, who he believes talk and are "misogynistic" in the "same way" as other rappers.
He said: "Everybody tries to rap the same and talk the same way and be misogynistic in the same way - it's annoying."
