Jack Garratt will store his growing number of awards in his bathroom.
The 'Weathered' singer has been chosen as the BRITs Critics' Choice Award winner for 2016 and the BBC Introducing Artist of the Year Award in 2015 and has been shortlisted for the MTV Brand New 2016 Award is going to place his treasured prizes in his toilet, so that his friends can have fun making up their own own acceptance speeches in front of the bathroom mirror.
Asked where he'll keep the gongs - that could soon be piling up - the solo artist exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "There is only one that I actually know physically exists. The BBC Introducing one I don't know if I get anything for it. But as it stands, I'm going to keep all of them in my bathroom at home in Chicago just because I want people to go in the bathroom and see all the awards and they can have an acceptance speech on their own in the bathroom."
The 23-year-old soul singer attended the VIP launch of MTV Brand New with Emporio Armani Diamonds 2016 Award at London's Tape nightclub on Tuesday night (1.12.15), where he revealed he's in talks to collaborate with British rockers Mumford and Sons and has always been inspired by frontman Marcus Mumford's songwriting.
He said: "I'd love to work with Mumford and Sons, I think Marcus is an incredible songwriter, all of them are. They work together quite a lot. We did come up with a cover of Sweet Dreams by The Eurythmics, which we've been playing on tour and I think we are about to come up with a new one. But doing that was so much fun. No matter if people like their music or not they are undeniably one of the best live bands in the UK at the moment."
