Icona Pop would love to see Pitbull Twerking to 'I Love It'.
The Swedish pop duo have been impressed with the many different covers of their huge worldwide hit track, and although they haven't seen the rapper's live take on it, they would love to see him shake his butt to the track.
Icona Pop would love to see Pitbull Twerking to their mega hit 'I Love It'.
Speaking at the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs) - which was sponsored by headphones brand Monster - in Amsterdam on Sunday (10.11.13), Aino Jawo told BANG Showbiz: "We love Cookie Monster's version, we love hearing our song in all its different versions, Robin Thicke made it into a lovemaking song, which I loved, I think it's always fun to hear different versions of his own song. Pitbull did a version? I would love to see that. I would love to see Pitbull Twerking to our track!"
The due closed the show by performing their most famous song, but Anio's bandmate, Caroline Hjelt, said they have already started on the follow up to their debut album 'This is... Icona Pop'.
She said: "We're constantly writing, so we're going to star on our new album as soon as next year starts, because we love to keep creative all the time, and keep things going."
After the awards fans and celebs partied late into the night at a Snoop Dogg hosted party at the city's Escape nightclub, where the rapper played a selection of old school hip-hop classics - including some of his own tracks - and gave shout outs to various stars and his entourage.
